Easy Barktoberfest: An exciting event will be held Saturday from 2pm to 6pm at 1300 Britmore Road, promising fun activities, more than 80 vendors, and a pet costume contest. Adorable adoptable dogs will be in attendance, including Talia in a mermaid costume and Charlie Brown in a strong man costume. Steal hearts and find your forever home. Not only is the festival packed with entertainment for all ages, but every penny raised supports Houston Pets Alive’s mission to save at-risk pets from euthanasia.
It will be held this Saturday, October 12th from 2pm to 6pm at 1300 Brittmore Road. Among the games, food stalls, food and drinks, you’ll see dogs in ridiculous costumes. Who doesn’t like that?
Barktoberfest brings festive fun and adoption opportunities to Houston
Join us at Houston Pets Alive’s Barktoberfest. This festival is a lively festival filled with delicious food, entertainment, local vendors, and creatively costumed dogs. More than just a festival, this event is about connecting adorable puppies with loving families and their forever homes.
“We’ll have over 80 vendors and tons of costumes and fancy dress contests,” said Noel Delgado, executive director of Houston Pets Alive. “This is Talia. She’s a mermaid, she’s going to be at Barktoberfest, and she’s available for adoption.”

Talia is described as a Velcro dog who loves snuggling on the couch and dressing up like a mermaid.
“We’re going to have lots of activities for the kids and we’re really looking forward to seeing the pets dressed up,” Noel said. “It would be so fun to see all the costumed pets included. If someone doesn’t have a costume for their pet, we can get one for them. We have lots of I have a costume.

Charlie is said to be the perfect family dog and is also available for adoption.
The best part about Barktoberfest is that all the money spent goes directly to Houston Pets Alive.
This nonprofit organization has rescued thousands of cats and cats from the brink of euthanasia.
