K+CO Living is seeking a Residential Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our growing company. This is a creative position for an energetic, positive team player with a deep understanding of residential interior design, the home furnishings and decor industry, construction, and interior architecture. This position is ideal for a self-starter who wants to oversee and manage a luxury residential project from concept to completion.
As a member of the K+CO team, this person will solidify the scope of the project proposal and work on creative and constructive concepts, material and interior furnishing selections. This person oversees all communications with the client, resolves issues, and guides the architect, contractor, and client to complete the project according to time and budget specifications. They ensure that projects meet project/client specifications, goals and quality standards and work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience in interior design/furniture sourcing, selection, and pricing is required.
• Understand new home construction and renovations.
• Good critical thinking skills.
• Project management experience: FF&E, budget, schedule.
• Familiar with project management tools such as Asana and Monday.com.
• Excellent communication and client, subcontractor, and vendor skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortably develop architectural details, from cabinets to factories.
• Knowledge of CAD, Sketch-Up, and Canva. Ability to draw elevations, sections, and details.
• Studio Designer is a plus or equivalent pricing and suggestion system.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and Drop Box.
• A strong team player, able to work well with others while also working independently without supervision.
• Must own a vehicle, be willing to travel, and be able to assist with pick-up deliveries and customer visits.
