The Interior Design Project Manager supports the Design Principal in all projects, primarily groundworks and furniture. They are extremely detail-oriented, technically skilled, calm and down-to-earth. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Nashville. Some travel is required.
requirements
– Minimum of 4 years of experience demonstrating excellence in design implementation.
– Knowledge of the design process including materials, custom furniture, procurement, construction, etc.
-Proficient with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software
– Professional and clear communication skills
-Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
Essential features
-Supports design principals in all aspects of the interior design process, from client onboarding to construction, site visits, and final furniture installation.
– Create highly detailed design presentations, renderings, and floor plans.
– Serve as a point of contact for clients, builders, vendors, tradespeople, and other third parties.
– Maintain highly accurate records of design decisions, communications, and meetings.
– Develop design solutions for consideration by design managers.
-Create proposals, invoices, and purchase orders in Studio Designer.
-Obtain quotes from vendors and contractors.
-Continuously monitor all orders to ensure schedules are met. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues as they arise.
-Supervise the installation of all furniture.
