GXO Logistics has expanded and expanded its partnership with France’s Henkel. The agreement also includes logistics services for Henkel’s beauty brands, in addition to Henkel’s existing operations across the laundry and home care sectors.

Operating from a 60,000 square meter site in the Orléans region, GXO manages storage, distribution, seasonal returns and value-added services for a wide range of Henkel products. The addition of the beauty department will further leverage advanced technology, such as pick-to-write solutions and inventory viewers, designed to improve the picking process and increase operational efficiency.
Henkel and GXO also share a commitment to sustainability and have already taken steps to reduce the environmental impact of their business activities. These include the installation of LED lighting with dusk and motion detection systems and the use of flocks of sheep for sustainable green space maintenance. Plans are underway to install solar panels that are expected to cover up to 50% of the site’s electricity needs.
