Glow Recipe is celebrating its 10th anniversary by celebrating the beauty founder’s Korean heritage with a pop-up in Los Angeles on Friday.
“We’ve always had a great customer base in Los Angeles, and we held our first pop-up at the Globe in 2018,” co-founder and co-CEO Christine Chan told WWD in a statement. She and business partner Sara Lee first launched the company in New York in 2014 as a curation of K-beauty products before introducing their own skincare brand in 2017.
They’re calling the experience “Night Market,” an interactive nighttime event where guests can enjoy free Korean sweets (from manufacturers like Lotte), vendors, photo booths, Glow Recipe product giveaways, and more. The brand is bringing back popular out-of-print products for a limited time, including Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask, Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream, and Watermelon Glow Lip Pop, which will be available in October on sephora.com and glowrecipe.com. , both return in November. Participants can also take home a Sephora gift card. The retailer, a longtime partner, is co-hosting the event.
