DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Protect your pet from the fear of getting lost at the Humane Society’s upcoming microchipping event.
Just in time for Halloween, this free Chips & Treats event lets you microchip your furry friend before monsters and beggars hit the streets.
Allegations against Huber Heights nursery school prompt criminal investigation
The event will be held at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Road, on Oct. 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. Enter through the far end entrance on Danner Ave. and park in the garage.
There is no limit to the number of animals you can bring. You also don’t have to get out of your car for service.
Microchips provide permanent identification, making it easier to reunite owners and pets if they become lost. This process is quick and painless.
Organizers advise that cats must be kept in carriers for the safety of cats and staff.
