FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control (FWACC) announces price reductions to commemorate Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb’s proclamation of November 2024 as “Hoosier Shelter Pet Adoption Month” I did.
According to FWACC, the introductory sale will run from November 5th to November 22nd.
Adoption fees on sale include:
Dogs (6 months to 6 years) $50 Kittens and cats $5 Small animals and dogs (7 years and older) Free
The animal shelter said its promotion includes all on-site and affiliated stores: Fort Wayne Pet Supply Plus Store, PetSmart at Jefferson Point and Maysville Road, Westside Animal Hospital, Covington Veterinary Hospital, and Black Forest Cat Cafe. Includes pets. .
“The spotlight on shelter animals is a benefit to local shelters across the Hoosier State, where access is limited. This allows potential pet owners to choose local shelters when searching for a new pet. Thank you for reminding us to check out the adoptable animals at our facility.”
