CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Pets in the Park is back for its fourth year, bringing joy to Carolina Beach with a day dedicated to all things pet-related.
Sponsored by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce, this event promises a tail-wagging, fun time for families and their furry friends.
The festival, held at Carolina Beach Lake, featured a variety of vendors and organizations dedicated to animal welfare.
Attendees explored booths including a puppy kissing booth, “Ask the Vet” consultation, and a mobile grooming van to ensure their pets were pampered and cared for throughout the day.
Event Coordinator Alana Keeler expressed her enthusiasm for the future of the festival, saying: Today is my favorite day of the year. There are lots of smiles, cries, and fun times with all kinds of animals, so I want to continue doing it. ”
In addition to vendor activities, the event also featured pet competitions in categories such as costumes and tricks.
WWAY’s Jeff Rivenbark hosted and announced who was on top, much to the delight of the crowd.
