LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Maryland woman has been arrested and police are searching for three accomplices for stealing more than $8,000 worth of merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store in Lancaster County.
According to the Manheim County Sheriff’s Office, officers were dispatched to the Ulta Beauty store on Fruitville Pike on June 10 for a reported retail theft. Witnesses told police the four suspects entered the store, walked to the aisles, removed numerous items from the shelves and placed them in a storage area. Put them in multiple bags.
The suspects allegedly walked past all the departments and left the store without paying for the items.
Police said the suspects stole $8,761.67 worth of merchandise.
The same four suspects are accused of committing a similar retail theft at another Ulta store in Springettsbury Township, York County, shortly after the Manheim Township theft.
They were identified as Tiffany Smoot, 39, of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Jonathan A. Jones, 43, of Laurel, Maryland. Mitte Perdillo, 55, of Springfield, Virginia. All four suspects were charged with retail theft.
Smoot was arrested in Maryland and is currently in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition. Jones, Perdillo and Wright are currently wanted.
