Gift from Trust Point Foundation opens new doors for students, faculty and staff
A philanthropic partnership between the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the Trust Point Foundation supports innovative and impactful learning experiences for students pursuing careers in financial planning.
The Trust Point Foundation has committed $90,000 over three years to establish the Trust Point Personal Financial Planning Fund through the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation.
The fund will support comprehensive financial education programs for campus and the broader community, including financial literacy workshops, seminars, and online resources. Additionally, we provide experiential learning opportunities for UWL College of Business Administration (CBA) students who aspire to become financial planners, helping them gain the skills and experience they need to excel in their future careers. .

In honor of this gift, UWL’s personal financial planning program will become the Trust Point personal financial planning program.
Dean of Finance Adam Stivers said this gift will have a transformative impact on students and faculty.
“First and foremost, we will be able to use this funding to send students to financial planning conferences, symposiums, and networking events, providing future financial planners with a variety of career networking opportunities. “It will be,” Stivers said. “This gift also allows us to send faculty to financial planning conferences and events for networking and career development purposes, which is critical in the world of financial planning where laws and taxes are constantly changing. .”

This partnership has special meaning for Bosch, who earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from UWL in 2000. Bosch received the Graff Distinguished Alumni Award in 2023, which recognizes the outstanding achievements of graduates who bring honor and prestige to the university.
