Awards season isn’t over yet. Tonight, the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards premiered in Las Vegas, hosted by Fat Joe, and it sparked some beautiful moments on the red carpet.
Last season’s bob haircuts dominated every awards show, but this season the lace front proved to be at the forefront. Da Baddest B**** Trina wore a classic center part with loose, full-body curls. This style was championed by artists Leys MC and LightSkinKeisha, who cut her style into a bob. Meanwhile, Teyana Taylor and GloRilla introduced new looks. Taylor, who appeared on stage with bangs, chose a bright red color.
As for makeup, nude glossy lips were the star of the show. Fall is the season for intense, dark-toned lips, but Tyra, Laura Brooke, and influencer Ali Fletcher (among other lists) wear medium-toned lip liners with a light, neutral, glossy finish. did. Each time, the lip combined with a set of eyelashes and thick, full eyebrows signaled a temporary revival of the long-lost beauty of the 2010s.
