We are looking for an experienced interior designer who is knowledgeable about architecture and architecture. This role is perfect for a designer who thrives independently but values a close-knit, agile team where your ideas and efforts directly shape each project. Working with both interior and architectural elements, we focus on floor plans and practical details to create chic, cohesive and inspiring spaces. You will work closely with Principal Christian to lead interior design efforts and play a key role in shaping the direction of the company. We work together to ensure each project is aligned with the client’s vision, evolving business and aesthetic goals.
• 3+ years of residential design experience: Proven expertise in residential interior design. Ideally, you will have experience working with architectural detailing or high-end manufacturers.
• Comprehensive Design Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, style, an understanding of architectural integration, and a focus on consistent, high-quality interior environments.
• Construction and materials knowledge: An understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes, and the ability to source and specify products that meet aesthetic and functional goals.
• Technical Skills: AutoCAD proficiency. Familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 3D rendering software, as well as Microsoft Office and Studio Designer, is an advantage.
• Adaptability and Collaboration: Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members, external architects, and contractors, manage project timelines, and adapt to evolving client needs.
