Eva Mendes is certainly dedicated to being a mother, but this one rule she has may be frowned upon in modern society.
Ryan Gosling is considered one of the most flattering men in Hollywood, but he has been off the market for quite some time.
The actor became romantically involved with now-retired actress Eva Mendes in 2011, and they later married and had two daughters together.
That might be news to you, as the two are notoriously quiet about their relationship and family life.

But in a new interview, Mendes opened the door just a little bit to give fans some insight into her parenting style and relationship with Gosling.
A highlight of her interview with The Times was her explanation of her rules for Gosling and her two daughters, 10-year-old Esmeralda and 8-year-old Amanda.
And even if you grew up with pretty strict parents, or are one yourself now, there’s a good chance you’ll raise a few eyebrows when you hear that.
She said her two children are both homeschooled and are not allowed to use smartphones or social media at home.

She explained: “Putting my child online and saying, ‘Oh, search for something,’ to me is the same as saying to her, ‘Oh, go down the street in the middle of the night.'” It’s okay. ”
“It may sound extreme, but that’s how I feel.”
This may be a bit of an oversimplification. If you simply want to Google what the capital of Iceland is (Reykjavik, in case you’re wondering), I think you can avoid the evil internet rabbit hole. However, it varies from person to person.
But it’s probably a good idea to limit your child’s exposure to social media, as it has some of the worst opinions on every topic, and sometimes even the cutest videos.
During the interview, Mendes also spoke about the challenges of being a mother, saying:

“Unconsciously, I can’t imagine anything they inherited from me that I wouldn’t want them to inherit.”
She also explained that she takes practical steps to avoid communicating her concerns.
Mendez said she never talks negatively about her body, weight or aging in front of her sisters, and she asks them to abide by that rule when they visit.
However, she admitted that as they are starting to get older, they won’t be able to maintain control of this narrative for long.
