EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – The 2nd Annual Wag-O-Ween Pet Carnival offered fun activities for pet owners and their fur babies.
It was also an opportunity for those looking to add to their families to meet adoptable pets.
“El Paso Animal Services is always full and we currently have approximately 900 to 1,000 animals looking for their forever homes,” said Michele Anderson with El Paso Animal Services. “If you would like to add a new member to your family, please come to one of our locations, visit us or visit a friend in your local rescue mission.”
El Paso Animal Services hosted the carnival, which included balloon jumping, music, food trucks, local vendors, a pet costume contest, and more.
The BISSELL Pets Empty the Shelters program offered free dog and cat adoptions. There were also discount sales of vaccines.
Dog owner Desiree Nieto said of the event, “They’ve got some really great dogs here. And honestly, it’s going to be so beautiful. It’s going to be a great place for anyone to find a pet.” ” he said.
If you are unable to attend this event, El Paso Animal Services still encourages you to visit the Animal Rescue League, your local humane society, and other local shelters and pet rescues when you are looking for a foster home. Masu.
