Drake May has officially joined the Board of Directors.
The New England Patriots’ prized rookie quarterback scored his first NFL touchdown late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. With 11 seconds left in the first half, he connected with wide receiver Kyshon Boutte for a beautifully thrown 40-yard TD pass, cutting Houston’s lead to seven points.

May had a mixed start. He made his first career interception early in the game, but was strip-sacked in the third quarter. Still, his impressive TD pass exemplified why the Patriots selected the North Carolina product with the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft.
According to Next Gen Stats, this is the longest completion streak by a Patriots QB over the past three seasons.
Drake Maye’s first career touchdown pass (a 40-yard TD) to Keishon Butte went 51.7 yards through the air, making it the longest completion by a Patriots quarterback over the past three seasons.
