A native of New Orleans, Dr. Raggio graduated from LSU’s medical school and completed his surgical residency at Tulane. Interested in further developing my skills in rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation, I pursued advanced fellowship training in facial plastic surgery at the University of Toronto. He believes this experience has broadened his range of expertise.
“I had a multicultural surgical experience in Toronto, with a very diverse caseload, so I became comfortable operating on faces and noses of all shapes and sizes, and I was able to care for patients of all ethnicities. More than that, there were advanced techniques and technologies that we wanted to bring back to the South.”
Dr. Raggio and his wife Christine, who have family in New Orleans and Dallas, did not initially plan to bring their practice to Birmingham, but after visiting the Homewood and Mountain Brook areas, they quickly fell in love with Birmingham’s charming charm.
