ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) – The faces of our furry friends are set to be in the spotlight along the streets of downtown Enterprise as part of a new banner program.
Registration for the “Furiends of Main Street” Enterprise Banner Program begins Monday, October 21 at 8 a.m.
Participants can purchase a 24-inch x 18-inch double-sided banner displaying a photo of their family pet for $100. For an additional $25, you can display different pets from the same family on either side of the banner.
The banners will be displayed along the streets of downtown Enterprise from January through May, and pet owners will be allowed to keep their banners after the program ends. All proceeds from the banner program will benefit downtown beautification and revitalization efforts.
“This is a great opportunity for pet owners to showcase their pets while contributing to the continued efforts to revitalize the downtown area,” said Mariah Montgomery, executive director of Main Street Enterprises. ” he said. “Whether it’s man’s best friend, a cute cat, a horse, a goat, or even a pet snake, we encourage all pet owners to share their pets with our community and help fund our ongoing projects. We hope you will consider this unique opportunity to help us collect.”
A limited number of banners will be available for reservation through the city’s Enterprise Community Services Rec Desk program.
