Michigan Humane magazine offers tips on the scariest night of the year
When trick-or-treaters arrive at your door on Halloween, there are a few things pet owners should keep in mind. Lydia Westerfeld of Humane, Michigan joined “Live in the D” to discuss some tips to help your pet become less fearful.
Westerfeld said you should be aware of how your pet will react to strangers and be sure to advocate for your pet. She also said it’s important to provide a plan and a place to go if you feel stressed.
October is Birth Prevention Month, and Mr. Westerfeld emphasized the importance of spaying or neutering pets to avoid unintentional birthing and promote the health of pets.
This week’s pet is Pumpkin, an adorable 9-month-old cat. A cute orange and white kitten is ready to live in a new home, being the only cat in the family. They have a voracious appetite, so they need an owner who enjoys giving them treats.
The Law Offices of Mike Morse will pay a standard adoption fee to anyone who adopts a Pet of the Week today. If you are looking for legal advice please visit this website.
