DIY knows exactly what they’re getting into when they step into the ring against the Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown next week.
On last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown LowDown, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa talked about the challenge that lies ahead of them next week in the form of the Motor City Machine Guns.
“Everyone in WWE is new to the Motor City Machine Guns. Not us,” Johnny Gargano said. “This is a match we’ve wanted for a long time. We’ve known the Motor City Machine Guns for a long time. Alex Shelley has been like a big brother to me personally throughout my career. They revolutionized tag team wrestling. I’m just being honest with you.”
Ciampa, while offering his compliments, made it clear that he believes Sabin and Shelley were in the right place at the wrong time.
“They started a revolution, but here’s the problem: right place, wrong time,” Tommaso Ciampa said. “Ten years ago, the Motor City Machine Guns were the uncrowned kings of this division. But today, if you’re listening, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, the uncrowned kings of the tag team division are us DIY. See you next week. See you there. Whatever it is.” (H/T: quarrelsome)
