In a recent Twitter post, Johnny Gargano shared a #DIY photo taken backstage with the Motor City Machine Guns at an AIW event in August.
Both teams will face off on next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Gargano wrote, “August 1, 2024. Backstage at AIW in Cleveland, the night before they lose the @WWE Tag Team Championships. Next week. #DIY vs. MCMG for #1. Life has a funny way of doing things.”

The Motor City Machine Guns made their debut on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in a tag team match.
