“Everyone in WWE is new to the Motor City Machine Guns. That’s not the case. This is a match we’ve wanted for a very long time. We’ve known the Motor City Machine Guns for a long time,” Gargano said. Alex Shelley, for me personally, has been like my big brother throughout my career. They revolutionized tag team wrestling. I’ll be honest with you. I’m just talking.”
Ciampa added:
“They started a revolution, but the question is, right place, wrong time. The Motor City Machine Guns 10 years ago. They would be the uncrowned kings of this division. But if you’re listening today, , Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, the uncrowned king of the tag team division is us, #DIY. See you next week. Whatever it is.”
