Delta Air Lines is improving the customer experience with new cabin designs. The modern new design aims to bring significant improvements to the interior of the airline’s aircraft. From new seating materials, enhanced lighting, and refreshed color palettes to new decorative motifs and distinctive branding, every aspect of our cabin interiors has been carefully planned and thoughtfully redesigned to enhance your travel experience. Designed.
“Delta has a 100-year history of creating customer experiences that feel welcoming and thoughtful by weaving intentional design elements into every aspect of the customer journey,” said Delta Vice President of Customer Experience Design. President Mauricio Parise said. “As we embark on the next century of flight, this all-new cabin interior infuses practicality and beauty, creating a space that is fresh, elevated and timeless, while reflecting our customers’ evolving tastes and expectations. It creates an atmosphere.”
The new cabin design features a unique and purposefully designed interior to help Delta customers feel at home during their travels. All aircraft will feature breathable materials, comfortable memory foam cushioning on wide-body aircraft, and relaxing lighting.
“Every flight is different, so we focused on creating warm, calming and atmospheric lighting options that create an environment where our customers can rest and relax, as well as stay as productive as they want. ,” said Parise. “For boarding, we focused on the ‘moment of deceleration’ – warm, inviting lighting that makes the cabin feel wide and open. When eating, prepare shades that will make you feel like you are at a candlelit dinner, making your meal more natural and appealing. As the lights dim for sleep, we borrow from the sunset to slowly filter out blue light while introducing a warm amber color reminiscent of a sunset. When it’s time to wake up, the cabin slowly brightens towards the morning and daylight. ”
Delta Air Lines’ new cabin design will be unveiled for the first time on its narrow-body Boeing 757 aircraft, which will begin flying domestically and short-haul internationally later this fall. In early 2025, the wide-body Airbus A350 will debut on long-haul international flights with a new design. Additional aircraft will also feature the new cabin design over the next few years, as Delta’s schedule and operations allow.
