Starting this fall, Delta will roll out new cabin interiors across all of its aircraft.
The renovation is part of Delta’s 100th anniversary and will feature new seating materials, lighting, colors and “decorative motifs” in all four cabins.
The new design uses a warm color palette and is sure to feel fresh, clean, and elegant.
Let’s take a look at the details.
Delta interior refresh

From a refreshed color palette to more breathable materials and memory foam cushioning, each new aspect is planned to make the passenger travel experience more enjoyable.
Because every flight is different, we focus on creating warm, calming lighting options that create an environment where you can rest and relax, or stay productive, as you wish. When boarding, we placed emphasis on the “moment of deceleration,” and adopted warm lighting that makes the cabin look wide and open. When eating, prepare shades that will make you feel like you are at a candlelit dinner, making your meal more natural and appealing. As the lights dim for sleep, we borrow from the sunset to slowly filter out blue light while introducing a warm amber color reminiscent of a sunset. When it’s time to wake up, the cabin slowly brightens towards the morning and daylight.

Colors will darken from the bright blue that Delta is currently known for, moving towards a softer, warmer color scheme with more natural materials.

New cabin interior introduction schedule
Despite the fact that Delta Air Lines has not yet completed the final refresh of the Delta One seats on its Boeing 767 aircraft, the airline expects its Boeing 757s to be available on domestic and short-haul international flights as soon as this fall. It was announced that the aircraft would begin flying with a refreshed interior. .
The wide-body Airbus A350 will then debut on international routes with the new design in early 2025, with additional aircraft expected to adopt the new design in the coming years.
Conclusion:
Unless you’re flying a Delta 757, you probably won’t see this new interior for a few years if you fly the Atlanta-based airline.
final thoughts
Delta Air Lines plans to update the cabin interiors of its entire fleet, starting with its 757s this fall.
New materials, lighting, cushions and color palettes aim to promote a more enjoyable and relaxing travel experience for passengers in all domestic and international cabins.
Delta’s goal is to create “unique experiences” across its diverse fleet, rather than just “unique subsets,” but only time will tell when that happens.
