The modern new design, which will debut this fall in advance of Delta’s 100th anniversary, will bring significant improvements to the airline’s aircraft interiors. Delta One customers will enjoy new soft, breathable fabric seats made from a blend of wool and nylon. It is lighter than current seat covers and properly regulates temperature to support rest and relaxation on board. The Delta One seat also features a headrest made of comfortable synthetic leather.

The enhanced lighting program has been purposefully designed to create a cohesive and calming onboard environment. Mood lighting designed for each phase of the flight makes you feel grounded and well-adapted to your time zone.
“Every flight is different, so we focused on creating warm, calming and atmospheric lighting options that create an environment where our customers can rest and relax, as well as stay as productive as they want. ,” said Parise. “For boarding, we focused on the ‘moment of deceleration’ – warm, inviting lighting that makes the cabin feel wide and open. When dining, prepare colors that will make you feel like you are at a candlelit dinner, making your meal more natural and appealing. As the lights dim for sleep, we borrow from the sunset to slowly filter out blue light while introducing a warm amber color reminiscent of a sunset. Brand colors and design elements
Delta is rethinking the way it uses brand colors by leaning into a softer, warmer, more modern color palette using natural materials like wool and Delta Originals traditional color accents throughout . The design is fresh, clean, and elegant, elevating key elements of the Delta brand.
Customers will feel even more at home thanks to thoughtful selection of materials at customer touchpoints and unique touches throughout the cabin, such as the Delta Widget logo and seat tags that create subtle differentiation between cabins.
A new design motif on the bulkhead features an evolution of current automotive branding patterns. Infinite Grid welcomes passengers and reminds them that no one connects the world better than Delta. The Celestial Sky pattern evokes the excitement and wonder of flight while leveraging elements of our global network.
All Delta One and Delta Premium Select widebody aircraft display a branded cabin identifier. For aircraft that do not have full-sized partitions between cabins, a bin bottom partition is installed in a sky pattern.
The bathroom is also refreshed with bright walls and a sky pattern accent wall opposite the mirror. The bathroom cabinets will be a fresh and modern azure blue color. The flooring is made of a smooth material with color spots to improve cleanliness and safe traction.
Release schedule
Delta Air Lines’ new cabin design will be unveiled for the first time on its narrow-body Boeing 757 aircraft, which will begin domestic and short-haul international service later this fall. In early 2025, the wide-body Airbus A350 will debut on long-haul international flights with a new design. Additional aircraft will also feature the new cabin design over the next few years, as Delta’s schedule and operations permit.
