Pets Live!, based in Dallas’ Preston Hollow, has announced the 5th annual DPA Soiree to raise money and celebrate the past 12 years of work to house homeless pets. .
The event’s honorary chairs will be Kyle Noonan, Courtney Noonan, and talk show host Courtney Carr.
“Every pet adopted is a win for our community,” the Noonans said in a statement. “Our rescue dogs, Fancy and Bossy, remind us every day that love comes with wagging tails and drool-filled kisses. ”
Hosted by FOX 4 News anchors Hannah Batta and Samantha Gannon, it will feature entertainment by the In10city band, dancing, food, drinks and a silent auction. Shelter pets available for adoption will also be on site, according to a news release.
“We are excited to celebrate our 12th anniversary in North Texas, and we have many great successes to celebrate at this year’s soiree,” said Leslie Sands, Founder and Executive Director of DPA! said this: “Without the generous support of our community partners and the public, we would not be able to save and improve the lives of more than 31,000 companion pets and their owners.”
Last year was DPA! The soiree raised over $300,000.
The DPA Soiree will be held at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel on Friday, November 15th from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $200 general admission, and sponsorships are available. The event’s décor is “creative cocktails.” Separate from general admission, guests and those unable to attend can receive a table placement display card honoring their pet by donating $50 and sending a photo of their pet to DPA.
