Curtis Stone defends himself against ‘disgusting’ claims from MasterChef fans
In an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle in Sydney this week, Curtis revealed that his attitude towards contestants will depend on where in the season they appear.

“You know, it depends on when I come out in the season. Because if I’m just out at the beginning of the season, they’re all pretty green. They’re all coming up. ” he tells us. “As you get closer to the finals, it really starts to mean a lot to them.
“So as a chef, I have to be a good leader, sense the team’s feelings, understand the team’s current situation, and always think about how much pressure I can put on them and how hard they have to work. There is.”
He continued, “And last season, I had a group of players that really wanted it, really, really wanted it. So I gave it to them. And I pushed them and let them stretch themselves. And I think, at the end, they were really grateful and it was really, really fun.”
