In the wake of Hurricane Milton, Crunch Fitness has opened select locations across Florida to provide essential services to those impacted by the hurricane.
Residents facing power outages or lack of basic utilities can visit participating Crunch Fitness Centers for access to showers, charging stations, and support spaces for recovery.
“We understand the tremendous impact Hurricane Milton has had on our community, and we hope everyone is refreshed,” said Tony Skrimale, CEO of CR Fitness Holdings, the nation’s largest Crunch franchisee. “We want to make sure we have a safe space where we can meet and regroup.” . “Our facilities are not just about fitness, they are about helping people live better lives, especially in times of need.”
Available services:
Showers: Free of charge during business hours.
Charging devices: Residents can charge their phones, laptops, and other important electronic devices.
Barbecue and relief efforts: Staff will be on hand to provide meals and bottled water.
Affected residents do not need to be Crunch members to take advantage of these amenities.
Crunch Fitness currently manages 70 gyms in multiple states, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. The company continues to monitor the situation and plans to open additional locations as needed.
