Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI), the world’s leading exhibition and conference dedicated to the cruise ship industry, will present the content of CSI Design Expo Europe, to be held at London Excel from 4th to 5th December. – Announced the program.
In collaboration with NEWH, the event’s CPD certification sessions include an interiors and hospitality track and are designed to reinvigorate attendees’ creativity and make big ideas manageable. These include sessions such as Charting Sustainable Ship Materials with NEcOLEAP and Meyer Turku and New Experiences in River Cruises and Luxury Offering.

Meyer Turku, Virgin Voyages, Seabourn Cruise Line, P&O Cruises, Cunard, Marella Cruises, Mystic Cruises, SMC Design and Studio DADO on key trends in the landside and European cruise industry.
In addition, the Sustainable Design Summit will hold its final working group in 2024 on site, sponsored by Movern Europe.
Cruise ship interior design innovator Greg Walton of Studio DADO will retire at the end of the year. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Walton onboard a cruise ship, reflect on the past and have a candid discussion about the future.
In “Transforming Key Spaces: An Innovative Approach to Renovations,” SMC Design reveals details of its role as leader of the Arroya Cruises renovation project, scheduled to be completed in December.
The popular “Meet The Brand” session is back and will include insights from Royal Caribbean, sharing the latest innovations and how the supply chain can strengthen relationships with brands. In “Charting Ship Materials,” Meyer Turku reveals exclusive details about the NEcOLEAP project and its vision for sustainable staterooms.
The Hospitality track showcases the latest developments in guest experience, from advanced cruise ship design technology to trends that are redefining guest expectations. With bright ideas! Inspired by theatrical lighting and LED, foot traffic and activation spaces, MSC, SMC Design, CONDUCTR and blooloop discuss competitive social trends and consider the future of entertainment on cruise ships.

On December 5th, the Cruise Ship Interior Awards celebrates five years of showcasing the very best in cruise ship interior design, from great small ships to eco-friendly products. This year’s awards include new categories: “Galley Innovation of the Year,” “Best Refurbished Space,” and “Best Onboard Experience.”
Registration for the event opened in August. CSI said, “This year’s two-day event promises to connect everyone across the cruise ship onboard supply chain with the people they most want to work with.”
