Shut down the antis.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Colton Underwood on Season 14 of The Bachelorette, and he returned to our screens in Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise before becoming a Bachelor in Season 23.
After appearing on Bachelor Nation, Colton came out as gay and married his husband Jordan Brown in Napa Valley, California, last May.
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this year and just welcomed their son Bishop together last month.
Now, the Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to address rude comments and answer a fan Q&A about parenting.
One fan asked Colton what he found surprisingly easy and surprisingly difficult about becoming a parent.
He answered: “What was surprisingly easy was that I felt a bond with him right away. I was nervous being a newborn… but it clicked right away. I can hear his cries and noises. It was amazing. The thing is how quickly he grows and changes every day!”
Another fan asked if Colton felt “father-embarrassed” for his rude comments since giving birth to Bishop.
The Bachelor Nation star responded, “I’ve seen the comments, but honestly, they don’t upset me because we’re in a happy bubble.” It helps because I’ve been through a period in my life where people were judging me for everything 😂 Lately, it takes me a while to figure out what I’m thinking. ”
One follower also asked Colton how her relationship with husband Jordan has been since their son was born.
He responded, “Seeing how much he loves our baby made me love[Jordan]even more.”
Finally, a fan checked in and asked how Bishop’s first month was going.
Colton replied: “What’s worked well is that he eats like a champ. What needs improvement: He has an hour to go out here and there around 7 p.m. We call that his witching hour. That’s what I call it!
We love hearing updates from Colton and can’t get enough of baby Bishop.
We continue to send our love to him, Jordan, and their entire family during this exciting time.
