But she also emphasized that she wants to balance fun, work, and her friendship with Offset as she begins this new chapter.
Cardi joined X Spaces on October 16th, giving fans an update on her life since welcoming her third child.
“Life has been really strange,” she said. “I’m single and I’m having fun. But I’m single and I feel like I’m having fun. I have to stop because I don’t want it to get in the way of work…I’m paranoid.” I’m just playing around now to give people their time…I just want peace. ”
Just last month, Cardi and Offset’s relationship became a hot topic on social media after the Migos rapper accused his ex-girlfriend of cheating on her while she was pregnant. The two seem to have talked things out clearly, but the rapper hopes their relationship can emulate his own parents growing up.
“I feel like there was a lot of beef two weeks ago,” she explained. “I feel like things are calmer now. I don’t want to have beef with people I love. Even with the divorce issue, I want peace, I want friendship. I just want a healthy community. I want a parenting relationship. And co-parenting means no cheating or cheating…I want peace. I want to be like mom and dad, they have each other. Not cheating, just being there for me and my sister.”
Fans will be happy to know that in addition to co-parenting, Cardi is also concerned about her career and doesn’t want her only joy to get in the way of making music. Sho.
“Baby, I’m in heat right now,” Cardi joked. “I’m having a lot of fun so far.” Someone gave me a reality check yesterday: “You’re having fun here, and while it may take your mind off your personal life, it takes your mind off work.” Please don’t confuse me!”
She continued, “I’m also balancing motherhood right now. It feels like I gave birth five months ago, but I really have a baby, baby. Sometimes my body feels weird. But of course, I gave birth six weeks ago. There’s a lot of balancing going on right now.”
As for the album, which he previously promised would be released this year, he said, “It’s going to be released really, really soon, and an announcement will be made really, really soon.”
