Maxwell is a 2-year-old male Siberian Husky who is available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center, 1501 W. Central Ave.
Maxwell weighs about 44 pounds and is a sociable dog who thrives on interactive play with other dogs, center staff said. They said Maxwell was a “perfectly sized dog” and was motivated by treats, making training sessions fun and rewarding.
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea treatment, and health exam.
The public can stop by to meet Maxwell between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, call the shelter at 833-422-8413, or visit countyofsb.org/phd/animal. You can make an appointment to meet the available animals. /PetSearch.sbc
