Canaan Congregational Church (Canaan UCC) partners with NY Connects – Columbia County, Healthcare Consortium, and Choice Connections to provide information to the community about “Lifestyle Options for Senior Living”
The free event will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at 1670 County Road 5.
Columbia County residents are invited to attend Canaan UCC’s Community Seminar Series featuring Choice Connection’s “Lifestyle Options for Seniors” program, offered in partnership with New York Connect – Columbia County staff, a program of the Healthcare Consortium. Please join us.
This workshop will be hosted by Renee Birnbaum, Co-Owner and Certified Senior Advisor at Choice Connections.
Birnbaum said: “Our presentation aims to provide valuable information about the range of services tailored to older adults who want to age in the comfort of their own homes. We will explore the different senior housing options available, including residential facilities and memory care communities.
“Caregivers will benefit from an overview of support systems within the community, and will also cover important topics that all caregivers should address with their loved ones, such as financial planning and end-of-life decisions.
