More than 20 years after forming, 2000s pop-rock favorites Busted and McFly have announced a joint headline tour of the UK and Ireland in 2025.
McFly played his 21st birthday show at London’s O2 Arena last night, when Busted burst onto the stage to share the news. McFly commented, “Busted invaded our show last night (not cool) and challenged us to next year’s VS tour.” “They’re old people now, so next year we’re going to blow them and their carers off the stage. We had a great time celebrating our 21st birthday this week and next year is going to be even better. I guess – PS Busted Suck.
Busted said while biting. “There’s been a lot of buzz lately… End of story here…! We’re ready to prove once and for all who is the better band. McFly sucks and busts rock! ”
The newly announced series of shows has been dubbed the ‘Busted Vs Mcfly Tour’ and will see both bands play in 14 cities across the UK and Ireland, including one night at Wembley Arena. Pre-sales for tickets will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, and general sales will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 18.
