Ramyun Stop (314 E. Hickory St.) will allow customers to prepare a variety of instant ramen noodles. The store had a soft opening in September and plans to hold a grand opening event on October 17th.
The nonprofit organization Heart of the City Denton (921 Morse St.) has opened a new mobile food pantry for families in need. The pantry is located in the Morse Street Baptist Church parking lot, and the nonprofit distributes food from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month.
El Viejon Cocina y Cantina opened in early August at 1431 E. McKinney St., Suite 100 and offers a wide variety of Latin food and drinks.

Korean chicken chain bb.q Chicken will open at 812 W. University Dr., according to its website. Founded in Seoul, South Korea in 1995, the chicken chain has since expanded to more than 3,500 stores worldwide. The restaurant offers a variety of Korean fried chicken flavors, including honey garlic, secret sauce, and kalbi. This will be Denton County’s first location.
According to the website, locals will soon be able to enjoy Detroit-style pizza once Jet’s Pizza arrives in Denton. The pizza chain already has one location in Denton County in Flower Mound, 2001 Cross Timbers Road.
The new apartment complex is expected to be built by 2026. Pradera at Razor Ranch (2525 Panhandle Street) will have 240 units near Razor Ranch.
Teriyaki Madness, a fast-casual Asian restaurant, is scheduled to open in Denton in early February, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The exact location was unknown.
