Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have kept their relationship together for the sake of their children, even though they divorced 24 years ago.
Willis and Moore’s daughter told how the former couple remained close and were able to raise their separate families together.
“I’m so grateful,” Rumer Willis told People magazine at the premiere of “Vengeance.” “I think one of the most beautiful things to witness about my parents’ relationship is that they still love and support each other.”
Willis and Moore married in 1987 and have three daughters, Rumer, Talulah, and Scout. The former couple divorced in 2000. The “Pulp Fiction” star married British model Emma Heming. Hemming and Willis have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.

“It means so much to me, and to all of my sisters, to have her appear in front of all of us as we work on this project and as she works on it. Even the way she interacts with my other sisters,” Rumer explained.
“We go to Emma’s house for dinner with the girls. We’re family,” she explained. “And I think family looks different in a lot of ways, but that’s what that means.”

Willis and Moore were able to master a co-parenting plan that “didn’t pit the kids against each other.”
“We’ve never had to separate holidays. We’ve never had to separate family vacations or Christmas or birthdays. And I think a lot of times it’s just our own egos.” Rumer looks back.
“If you put your kids first, if you’re fighting with that person and you can’t put things aside for the kids, that’s you. That’s what I think. That’s how I feel about it. And I know it’s difficult sometimes.”

Life has been difficult for Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023.
“Our family would like to begin by expressing our deep gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and incredible stories we have all received since we told Bruce of his initial diagnosis. ,” Moore wrote on social media at the time. “In that spirit, we wanted to give you an update on our beloved husband, father, and friend, as we now have a deeper understanding of what he is going through. ”
She added: “Since announcing Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and he now has a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (also known as FTD). “Unfortunately, communication issues are just one symptom of the illness Bruce is facing.” Although painful, I was relieved to finally have a clear diagnosis. ”

Moore recently gave an update on the Die Hard star’s health while accepting an award at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival.
“I’ve said it before: A disease is a disease,” Moore told the crowd while accepting his career achievement award, according to People magazine. “And I think you have to really deeply embrace what that is.”
“But considering his position, he is stable.”
