BISSELL Pet Foundation and BISSELL Homecare, Inc. announced the launch of the “From Cart to Care” campaign on Amazon in conjunction with World Animal Day. This unprecedented event marks the first time a brand has suspended sales on Amazon in favor of soliciting direct donations for charity.
On October 4th, BISSELL Amazon’s storefront ceased sales and shifted its focus entirely to supporting the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s mission of saving the lives of homeless pets. Donations made through the Amazon page went directly to the foundation’s life-saving programs, including adoptions, spaying/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, crisis and disaster response efforts, and more.
“BISSELL Pet Foundation is a lifeline for pets and the people who care for them in shelters across the country,” said Cathy Bissell, founder of BISSELL Pet Foundation.
Since its founding in 2011, BISSELL Pet Foundation has helped more than 825,000 pets through its programs, and this event on World Animal Day aims to further increase that impact. With shelters across the country facing a severe overcrowding crisis, it’s more important than ever to adopt, foster, or donate.
