Bethenny Frankel is a beauty expert who loves sharing information about her favorite products, many of which can be found at your local drugstore. In a 2022 interview with People, the Real Housewives of New York City star revealed some of her best low-cost beauty products. One product we can’t stop thinking about is Palmer’s Coconut Hydrate Body Oil. Frankel recommends mixing your favorite scents to create custom-scented (and cost-saving) fragrance oils. Want to try this easy hack? Right now, it’s only $7 from Palmer’s, down from $10.

Why is it a good deal? 💰
As Frankel explains, “You’re paying for the scent of expensive body oils, so doing it yourself can save you a lot of money.” In fact, one popular scented body oil costs $45. It may be more than that. Why spend that much money when you can get the same effect for 1/10th the cost? “Simply put a few drops of your favorite fragrance in your hands and mix it with Palmer’s,” she says. Use cologne, perfume, or essential oils. Only a few drops are needed.
Think about it. Instead of shelling out big bucks for just one scent, you can customize your Palmer’s with a different scent each time you use it. And a $7 bottle of Palmers lasts quite a while.

Why do we need this? 🤔
Fans say that apart from Bethenny’s fragrance hacks, Palmer’s also has plenty of skin-soothing properties. Containing Tahitian monoi oil, this blend rejuvenates and replenishes skin’s moisture and radiance. It’s also formulated to absorb into the skin without being sticky like body oils. And of course it has its own light, sweet coconut scent. Use after showering for maximum hydration or anytime your skin needs revitalization.

Reviewer’s opinion 💬
More than 9,600 Amazon reviewers have given Palmer’s Coconut Hydrate Body Oil a 5-star rating, with many praising its “luxurious” feel.
Advantages 👍
“I love all of Palmer’s coconut products! But this is my favorite!” said one happy customer. “I use it right after I get out of the shower while still wet. It absorbs beautifully. It’s not oily and feels great. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I’ll never stop using this. I’ll never go without it.” I don’t like it.”
Another shopper said: “For the last few years the skin on my legs has been very dry. It’s ashy, almost papery and I have ingrown hairs. None of the creams were absorbed and had no effect.” I’ve used this oil on my wet feet from the shower several times now, and each time my feet look and feel so much better. ”
“It’s light, has a mild, sweet scent and leaves your skin glowing,” raved a third. “I also tried it on my legs after shaving. Wow, amazing! Normally my legs start to feel itchy and I get really dry skin in the winter, but that wasn’t the case with Palmer’s disease. I actually enjoy shaving my legs because it eliminates the itchiness and leaves me with silky smooth skin that smells like coconut.”
Cons 👎
Some fans say the bottle might be better. “The oil itself is luxurious, absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaves no greasy residue, and leaves it incredibly soft and moisturized,” one user reported being generally satisfied. “The only drawback I noticed is the spout cap, which tends to leak a bit, so you have to be careful when using it.”
“The dispenser doesn’t spray as much mist into the area as you’d think,” one final fan wrote. “There’s just a little squirt of water; standing on the towel helps catch the occasional droplets.” However, they added, “My favorite time to use is when my skin is still damp. I think there’s some rubbing on my clothes, but no stains or oil stains.I really like this moisturizer.”
