I can’t stop the excitement from the red carpet moment at last night’s Academy Museum Gala.
First, The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri rocked big curls, giving her a Diana Ross-like moment on the red carpet. Additionally, she applied bronzer to her eyes and nude lipstick. Speaking of nude lipstick, Kerry Washington wore her lipstick in a slicked back ponytail. Zoe Saldana, on the other hand, channeled the 1920s with a side-swept hairstyle that paired well with cranberry red lipstick.
Betty Boop’s hair was seen swirling on the red carpet. Daniel Deadwyler gives us the true definition of a face card. This time, she finished her look with dramatic eyeliner and brown lipstick.
Then Taraji P. Henson and HER gave us some major hair inspiration. Henson showed off her new look in brown and red, while she wore her loosely parted curls in an updo on the red carpet. Cynthia Erivo showed us that you can wear green makeup. This was definitely a nod to her next movie, ‘Wicked.’ Finally, Andra Day gave off goddess vibes with a twist on a scarf, glitter eyeshadow, and hot pink lipstick, reminding us that simplicity and class go hand in hand.
