This weekend, Beautycon returns to Los Angeles for a two-day festival filled with the beauty industry’s leading voices, products, and trends. The convention, hosted by Refinery29, is a playground for the future of beauty, where attendees and organizers discuss where next season’s trends are heading. Through exclusive panel discussions, professional demos, and masterclasses, it’s all here for an unmissable experience.
On the main stage on day 1, TikTok’s top content creators will share how to grow their beauty platform, followed by two hair-focused talks. Next, ESSENCE’s Senior Beauty Editor Akiri King will host an intimate panel discussion hosted by founder Monique Rodriguez and Miel Organics about the history and future of the brand.
Then Made By Mitchell’s Mitchell Halliday takes to the beauty school stage to break down ambient makeup techniques and create a cheat sheet panel on hair, makeup and life hacks you didn’t know you needed.
Day two begins with In The Lab, featuring beauty industry leaders like cosmetic chemist Javon Ford and S’able Labs’ Sabrina Elba, giving an inside look at beauty brands’ formulations. And just before Love Island’s Serena Page talks about her post-Island viral relationship, celebrity make-up artist Sir John gives us a ‘dopamine menu’ beauty masterclass.
Meanwhile, beauty founders Anastasia Beverly Hills and Danessa Myricks reflect on how beauty has evolved over the years and where it’s heading in the future. Between tarot readings and 180-point facial demos on the Beauty School stage, a masterclass on the main stage unravels this season’s soft and glamorous looks. To conclude this year’s Beautycon, Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach and rapper Saweetie will be joining the Beauty Look Like Me panel to redefine traditional beauty standards.
