STEVENS POINT — Allure Hair Design, located at 2625 Henrietta St., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 1 to celebrate the salon’s rebranding and launch of a new product line.
Owner Kim Birch, who purchased the current building in 2017 after relocating from downtown in 2020, said the salon has transitioned to using Lanza products, replacing the previous product line. Representatives from Lanza were also on-site to provide training and support for the transition.
“I’m very fortunate to have such a great staff,” Birch said. “It’s going to be a fun and exciting week for us as a team.”
Portage County Business Council Ambassador Sarah Agena welcomed attendees and congratulated Birch and his team on their rebranding efforts.
“We’re here to help whenever you need something,” Agena said, adding that the council’s ambassadors are a resource for local businesses.
Portage County Business Council Executive Director Michael Witte praised the salon’s rebranding as an important contribution to the community.
“One of the things we hope to see is not just new businesses, but existing businesses finding new ways to grow,” Witte said. “If there’s anything we can do to help your business become more well-known in the community, please let us know.”
The Portage County Business Council’s Ambassador Club presented Allure Hair Design with a plaque honoring the salon’s contributions to the county’s growth and prosperity.
