Characteristics of a clinic full of hospitality
Owner Dennis Walsh, master injector and founder of Beauty Boss & The Ivy, collaborates with interior design firm House of Form (Phoenix) and draws inspiration from Italy’s Amalfi Coast. , a 3,000-square-foot space with a hospitality-inspired aesthetic.
The exterior designs of Beauty Boss and The Ivy are each unique and designed to match the color palettes that reflect their respective interior spaces. For example, The Ivy’s exterior is green, matching the flooring of the entrance.
Additionally, Beauty Boss has an arched entrance, which is repeated in the interior hallway.
Creating unique clinic interiors
Interior design details include a wavy soffit wrapped in wood-like wallpaper from The Ivy. Uplighting in the Beauty Boss arched hallway adds depth and drama to the arch leading to the injection room.
The Ivy Nurse’s Island serves as storage for medical supplies and is designed as an intentional “kitchen island” with a decorative stone countertop with a waterfall edge and an eye-catching chandelier.
Furniture and material choices were chosen to balance health and cleanliness requirements with the desire not to feel like an on-site medical center. The injection room is equipped with a gold stainless steel medical table with a brass finish.
