Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are exchanging parenting tips “all the time”.
Last week, gallery director Eugenie posted on Instagram to congratulate her sister Beatrice, who shares three-year-old Sienna and eight-year-old step-son Wolfy with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, on the news of her pregnancy. But they admitted that they consulted their brothers first about what to write because they always share their experiences.
Eugenie, who has sons August, three, and Ernest, 16 months, with husband Jack Brooksbank, said she and her siblings “always” look to each other for advice and are so lucky to be able to do so. He said he felt that.
She told Britain’s HELLO! Magazine: “I call her all the time about my meltdowns.
“When I was posting that photo on Instagram, I called her and was like, ‘What do you want me to say?'” Just in case, I always like to ask.
“And she said, ‘I can’t wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood.’
“I posted about our parenting journey because it’s like being part of a club, a mothering club.
“It’s the luckiest thing in the world that our kids are the same age and have the same experiences.
“And Bea is my sister. I tell her everything.”
Eugenie, whose grandmother is the late Queen Elizabeth II, has not yet told her sons that they are expecting a new cousin.
she said: “I’m not there yet. I think Auggie will notice when he sees his tummy getting bigger, but they don’t understand it yet.”
The princess’ mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, is “so happy” to be a grandmother again, and Eugenie loves seeing her pride in her family.
she said: “It’s funny because my mother loves her grandchildren so much, and you can see the pride she has in her two daughters.
“She was like, ‘My babies!'”
“Becoming a grandmother brings a sense of pride for the baby and her baby, but she has a double whammy.”
