What’s going on inside?
The new interior of the A5 family is a big step up from its predecessor. The dashboard is sleeker and more modern, and the technology feels better integrated into the overall design. The old MMI screen looked like it had been glued on top of an old A4 dashboard, and that’s basically what was happening.
Like many modern cars, the S5 is heavily overscreened, but at least it looks like it’s intentional. It has an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit, a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, and a 10.9-inch touch display for the passenger. It’s amazing that there’s even room for something as mundane as a steering wheel.

By the way, I didn’t ride the square wheels that came with the S5 much. It felt a little too small and I couldn’t adjust it low enough. But its ungainly shape reduces corners to a series of inputs that are far from comfortable. It flows.
Is the screen scratched?
The screen is of high quality as expected, but even though the center screen is angled towards the driver, it’s difficult to adjust on the move and you end up pushing all sorts of things.
I like the new heads-up display in the car, as it provides a wealth of information (I half expect to see a stock market ticker at the bottom, but I really need the G-meter projected onto the windshield). ). The busy digital dash gets a bad rap from us. Of course, you can adjust it a little to suit your tastes, but why is it so difficult to tell the time?
In addition to Apple and Android wireless connectivity, it comes standard with wireless charging capabilities and has a cooling fan underneath to prevent your phone from exploding.

Another interior touch we liked on the S5 uses LED strips under the windshield and in the doors to assist with navigation instructions and work with the safety systems to provide useful reminders and warnings. Ambient lighting.
Do you have a decent room?
The S5 is very relaxed up front, with plenty of space to be comfortable. However, no matter which chair you sit in, you will feel how small this car is. 5 feels very low to the ground. That said, the interior of the car is a little depressed, but it feels like there’s quite a bit of space, with plenty of room for legs and feet, even in the back seats.
Headroom is very important for tall people. If you regularly travel with adults in the back seat, we recommend choosing the Avant version or one of Audi’s many SUV choices.
Boot space is a respectable 445 liters with the seats up (unlike in a traditional saloon, they can be folded down). That’s just 30 liters less than the estate version of the car, which increases to 1,299 liters with the seats folded. under. This figure, taking into account the pitched roof, is 125 liters at the rear of the property.
