Hassan Merchant, the newly appointed Marketing Manager of Arabian Travel Market, has been an employee of RX since 2020.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – RX, organizer of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), has appointed Hassan Merchant as Marketing Manager for the leading international travel trade show. In his new role, Mr. Merchant will report to Daniel Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Markets, and will be responsible for developing marketing strategies for the Dubai-based exhibition, which welcomed a record 47,000 attendees last year. and manage implementation.
Originally from India, Merchant holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune. After graduating, I started my career in the events industry and moved to Dubai in 2014 to work in marketing and event management at Messe Frankfurt Middle East. He then continued his career at Landmark Group before joining RX in 2020.
Merchant, who previously held the role of senior marketing executive at ATM, returns to the team from her role as marketing manager for the World Future Energy Summit.
Commenting on Mr. Merchant’s appointment, Mr. Curtis said: “Hassan brings to ATM 12 years of valuable experience in marketing in both the UAE and India.His results-oriented approach and dedication to detail make him an invaluable addition to the team. Merchant develops and manages marketing strategies for ATMs across multiple channels, including digital, public relations, and event management. He will also oversee marketing efforts for all exhibitors at the event and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, from government agencies to industry associations.
As part of our strategy, we will secure high-value visitors, enable exhibitors to engage with key decision makers, and gain valuable insights to ensure ATM continues to grow its influence in the global travel and tourism landscape. The emphasis will be on making it possible.
