Dreaming of the ultimate automotive man cave? Check out Ron Adams’ passion project. Attention to detail and a love of red lace have combined to create one of the most complex garages at Apex Motor Club, with a total of 96 similarly sized garage condos.
“The inspiration for this garage came from a trip to Modena visiting the original Scuderia Ferrari garage, which is now a museum. The garage was perfect. It had old brickwork, old world, plaster walls, clean and It was an all-white, minimalist building. It was just amazing,” Adams recalls. His garage has managed to create a persona and craftsmanship that are often associated with the legendary brand.
A successful publisher for 12 years, including the car magazine Via Corsa, Adams’ garage includes an authentic Michael Schumacher F1 nose cone, a driving simulator and several race cars (two used in Ferrari Challenge racing activities). It is kept. Adams says keeping his race car in the garage makes it easier to drive year-round. For Adams before, as is often the case with racers, their cars are located at remote race team facilities.
He added: “For years I’ve wanted a man cave, a garage and a place to put all my stuff. This is the culmination of decades of racing (Ferrari Challenge and other races) and the Scuderia… A tribute to Ferrari. The garage is where I live, where I hang out, where I enjoy everything I’ve accumulated, and where I share everything with others,” says Adams.
The garage floor is 1,250 square feet, with an additional 625 square feet of mezzanine, and if needed, Apex members can take two adjoining garages and connect them to double the space . The space begins as a shell containing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and half baths. From there, members can customize their dreams and visions, and the club can assist them in the process.
