ALG Vacations, a member of the Hilton family, has launched a new refresher course aimed at keeping travel advisors up to date on the company’s programs and enhancements.
ALGVPro is ALGV’s self-paced, on-demand online education program for travel advisors to learn and engage with destinations, products, brands, services, and more. This program does not require advisors to retake past courses, but instead focuses on short modules that cover new updates since the previous certification. The course format allows advisors to focus on the most relevant topics and complete training at their convenience.
ALGVPro certification earns travel advisors numerous benefits, including FAM travel eligibility and attractive prizes. Travel Advisors have the opportunity to earn up to 5 continuing education units (CEUs) from The Travel Institute, and an additional 2 CEUs upon completion of ALGVPro.
“ALG Vacations is committed to supporting travel advisors, and with the launch of ALGVPro Active, we continue to provide important tools to help advisors succeed in an ever-evolving industry,” said Jackie, Global Head of Trade Brands. Marks said.
She added, “This course is just one of the many ways we make sure you have the most relevant and up-to-date resources at your fingertips.”
If you graduated from ALGVPro before October 1, 2024, you will retain your ALGVPro certification status and benefits through 2025 by completing an ALGVPro active course.
Advisors may complete the course any time through October 1, 2025, but benefits, including prizes and FAM travel eligibility, will be suspended from January 1, 2025 until certification is achieved. Please note. Advisors who recertify by the end of 2024 will continue to enjoy all the benefits of ALGVPro without interruption. New graduates after October 1, 2024 do not need to register for ALGVPro Active.
