Al Pacino keeps in touch with his 1-year-old son via text message.
The Oscar winner made the surprising revelation while speaking to the BBC about his new autobiography, Sonny Boy. Pacino, 84, has revealed that he no longer lives with his youngest son, Roman, with ex Noor Alfallah, 30.
Although the couple co-parents, Pacino’s regular communication with the baby appears to be digital. “He texts me sometimes,” the Godfather star said. “Everything he does is interesting to me. So we talk. I played harmonica with him in another video work and we kept in touch like this. So, It’s fun.”

Pacino and Alfalah, who were first romantically linked in April 2022, confirmed the pregnancy news in May 2023. However, their representatives have since released a statement saying that they are “very good friends” and are “co-parents” of their son, but are not romantically involved. The statement came after Alfalah was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles with Bill Maher.
Alfalah has full custody of Roman, but three months after Roman’s birth, the pair will be granted visitation rights to the Scarface star and other aspects of their child’s life, including schooling, religion, and education.
