MONTREAL – Canadian furniture manufacturer Dorel Home has partnered with 3D Cloud for both product visualization and lifestyle imagery. This is a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing Dorel’s 3D product visualization capabilities.
By introducing 3D Cloud Room Planner, Dorel is streamlining its internal workflow and making its 3D and marketing teams more efficient and flexible. This partnership will enable Dorel to meet the specific needs of its dealers and partners and create high-quality lifestyle images more quickly and cost-effectively. The tool allows Dorel to create a variety of lifestyle renderings faster than traditional CGI, reducing costs and speeding time to market.
“3D Cloud Room Planner brings scale and simplicity to our visual content creation workflow,” said John White, CIO at Dorel. “We will be able to better support our retailers and partners by delivering more efficient and customized images faster than ever before.”
The 3D Cloud Room Planner tool is used internally at Dorel Home to create lifestyle images tailored to the needs of stakeholders such as dealers and partners. Although this tool is not publicly available, it ensures that Dorel’s visual content remains relevant and adaptable to your specific requirements.
Dorel has a huge catalog of products that integrate into the 3D Cloud Room Planner, but the initial rollout will focus on indoor furniture. The partnership is aimed at helping Dorel expand its 3D visualization efforts, with potential benefits for content syndication and stronger relationships with major retailers. Dorel plans to have this tool in-house by the first half of 2025.
Dorel Home also plans to expand its 3D program with additional 3D cloud tools such as augmented reality and product rendering. Brands that will benefit from these advances include Ameriwood Home, DHP Furniture, and Signature Sleep under the Real Rooms e-commerce umbrella.
Dorel products are available at major retailers in the U.S. and Canada, including AFW, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot. Retailers who partner with 3D Cloud will be able to subscribe to Dorel content for their product images and 3D applications.
“Dorel is a leading manufacturer of home furnishings in North America. Their team has done their due diligence and is focused on results, and we are excited to partner with them on this important initiative.” 3D Cloud said Beck Besecker, CEO and co-founder of.
Dorel Home is an internationally active, $1.4 billion furniture manufacturer with a comprehensive e-commerce platform and a wide selection of domestic and imported furniture.
