ISLAMABAD: Rifa Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, in collaboration with Pakistan Association for Lifestyle Medicine (PALM), hosted the 5th International Conference on Lifestyle Medicine Retreat from October 4th to 6th.
Held at the tranquil Highland Country Club, Pakistan’s first retreat-style conference offered participants a unique opportunity to explore the latest advances in lifestyle medicine in a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. Over three days, participants took part in workshops, scientific sessions, and insightful discussions, while also enjoying wellness activities such as early morning meditation and nature walks to improve their well-being.
The event featured remarks from Riffa International University (RIU) President Hassan Muhammad Khan, who emphasized the importance of lifestyle medicine conferences. Notable speakers included Vice Chancellor Dr. Anis Ahmed, PALM President Dr. Zia Abbas, Dr. Shagufta Feroz, Director of the Rifa Lifestyle Medicine Institute, Dr. Beth Frates, President of the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine, and Dr. Masu. Munira Abbasi, Vice President of PALM, and other prominent national and international experts.
