Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are enjoying the best time of their lives – parenthood. The very much in love couple met on the sets of ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela’ and their love blossomed there. They got married in 2018 and welcomed their baby girl, a little girl, on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi, leaving them tickling pink with joy. The new parents are adjusting to this new phase in their lives, but have yet to announce their baby girl’s name. Recently, Ranveer shared a cute update about his and Deepika’s parenting routine. It’s adorable.
Ranveer Singh gives an update on his and Deepika’s new normal as parents to a princess
Ranveer Singh recently graced the trailer launch event of ‘Singham Again’. The new dad looked handsome in a black T-shirt, brown coat and black joggers. A ponytail, classy sunglasses and boots added the final touches to his look. Now, Deepika also attended the trailer launch event for ‘Singham Again’ and there were rumors that she might make her first public appearance after giving birth to a baby girl. In the end, the actress could not attend the event and Ranveer revealed the reason.
Addressing the audience at the trailer launch event of ‘Singham Again’, Ranveer said that Deepika could not come as she was carrying a baby. He also cutely added that the baby’s work is at night, which means Ranveer is a doting dad to the little princess. As soon as Ranveer gave this cute update, the audience screamed and jeered for him. Mr. Ranveer can be heard saying.
“Deepika event par ni aa pai war baby ke sat hai or meri duty night hoti hai.”
Ranveer Singh calls his little princess ‘Baby Simmba’ and tags ‘Singham Again’ as little one’s debut
In the same conversation, Ranveer Singh revealed that everyone will be able to watch his and Deepika’s ‘Baby Simmba’ in Singham Again, and that the actress was pregnant during that time, so the film will be made for young children. He tagged it as his debut work. The actor further wished everyone a happy Diwali from him, Deepika and their little Simmba. In Ranveer’s words:
“Along with all the stars appearing in the film, we will also see our baby Simmba making her debut as Deepika was pregnant during the shooting of the film.On behalf of Lady Singham and Baby Simmba , I wish you all a Happy Diwali.”

It was on September 15, 2024, that Deepika Padukone was discharged from the hospital along with her young child. Before returning home with her little one, Deepika updated her IG profile to showcase how her life will now revolve around her baby. Here are the one-liners that Deepika used as a new mom:
“Eat, burp, sleep, repeat.”

A few days ago, Ranveer Singh arrived at an event in Antilia. This was her first appearance since giving birth. Now, an excited Ranveer asked his dads to pose and immediately shouted, ‘Baap van gaya leh’. Well, the very next day, Deepika re-shared a funny reel featuring a baby girl running towards the door with binoculars to look for someone. The caption proved to be Ranveer’s reaction when he left her and the baby alone at home. The caption for the reel was:
“This is me when my husband said he would be home at 5 o’clock, but now it’s 5:01.”
